Hi,
I am using Cross Tab on the data set below where I group Column Type by Reference so for reference 29115742 the Output will be 2A2B because reference 29115742 has 2 rows. Reference 29120410 has 4 rows therefore the Output will be 2A2A2B2B. Can you please tell me whether is there a way to change the output for 29120410 to 2A2B so that it will only take the first identical value?
Thanks!
N
Current output:
Reference | Type | Output |
29115742 | 2A | 2A2B |
29115742 | 2B | 2A2B |
29120405 | 1A | 1A1B |
29120405 | 1B | 1A1B |
29120410 | 2A | 2A2A2B2B |
29120410 | 2A | 2A2A2B2B |
29120410 | 2B | 2A2A2B2B |
29120410 | 2B | 2A2A2B2B |
Desired output:
Reference | Type | Output |
29115742 | 2A | 2A2B |
29115742 | 2B | 2A2B |
29120405 | 1A | 1A1B |

29120410 | 2A | 2A2B |
29120410 | 2A | 2A2B |
29120410 | 2B | 2A2B |

Hi @Norbi
If your data is identical and you don't want to see it duplicated after the cross tab, use a Unique tool to remove the actual duplicates. In your case, select Reference and Type as the fields to check for unique values.

Many thanks to you both!
It works for me.
