Creating all combinations of a dataset containing 1600+ rows

Hi there

I am trying to create every combination of a dataset. I have 1600+ records an I'd like each and every combination. I've used the append tool, but it only works for 16 records in the source data. The final output should be a table that combines each customer number on the left hand side with all other customer numbers on the right hand side.

Hi @pratishn 

you can use the append tool and change the configuration to Allow all appends in the confguration, to let more than 16 records.

I think this might just be a change in your configuration.

All you need to do is "Allow All Appends" in the configuration window.

Let us know if that works.

Hi @pratishn,

Turn off the built in warning to error on more than 16 appended records, this can be done at the bottom of the configuration of the append fields tool, i'd change it to "Allow All Appends"

The reason the warning is there is to stop users accidentally mushrooming out their data, but can be turned off with the setting in the dropdown!
