2022.1.1.30569 Patch Release Update

The 2022.1.1.30569 Patch/Minor release has been removed from the Download Portal due to a missing signature in some of the included files. This causes the files to not be recognized as valid files provided by Alteryx and might trigger warning messages by some 3rd party programs. If you installed the 2022.1.1.30569 release, we recommend that you reinstall it.

Creating New Values from previous rows

Hi everyone,

From the above screenshot, how can you insert a new profit for 2023, 2024 and 2025 based on 2022 for each Region?

Below is the sample calculation in excel on how I arrived on the result per year for AMER Region.

2023 profit:  (1,197 * 1.25) + 1197 = 2,693

2024 profit:  (2,693 * .87) + 2693 = 5,036

2025 profit:  (5,036 * .56) + 5036 = 7,856

Thank you for taking time on my query.

Best regards,

Michael

Hey @Mwatts23 are you able to attach the sample data so we don't have to build this out ourselves? Cheers!

Hey @Mwatts23,

I agree with @DataNath its a lot easier to answer questions when you have access to the data. For this issue Multi row formula is the answer: Multi-Row Formula Tool | Alteryx Help

The tool groups by region then applies the logic if the row above in profit is not NULL then do your formula else keep the value of profit.

Any questions or issues please ask :)
