Connecting DocumentDB through Alteryx

Is there a way to connect to DocumentDB via Alteryx Designer?
I know we can connect to MongoDB but do we have the functionality today or in the future to connect to DocumentDB?

You can use the In-DB tools to access most DBs, to check if your data source is accepted, please click here.

I couldn't find a connector for DocDB. So, it seems we don't have any. 
Is there an update coming to add the DocDB connector? It would be nice to have this addition.
