So I have a data set that kind of looks like this:
Week Commencing | ID | Quantity Sold |
2019-06-29 | 10001 | 1 |
2019-06-29 | 10001 | 1 |
2019-06-29 | 10002 | 1 |
2019-07-06 | 10001 | 2 |
2019-07-06 | 10003 | 3 |
2019-07-06 | 10004 | 3 |
2019-07-13 | 10001 | 2 |
2019-07-13 | 10002 | 1 |
I'm trying to create the following table:
ID | Weeks on Promotion | Total quantity sold range |
10001 | 3 | 6 |
10002 | 2 | 2 |
10003 | 1 | 3 |
10004 | 1 | 3 |
I've been trying to use the Summarize tool to calculate/count the number of weeks on promotion for each ID.
Could I please get some assistance, I'm new to Alteryx.
Thanks!

hi @Callumlam ,
in your summarize, use count distinct to get your weeks on promotion. i hope this helps!
Hi David, I'm trying to count the number weeks in which sales happened for a given ID. The summing of quantity is not the issue.
