Comparison between 2 data tables

Istwineres

Hi all, I extract and filtered data from 2 data tables with over 2 mil records each (same fields), and I'm looking a smart way to find which record is present in one data table and which is not. In theory they should contain the same number of records

Many thanks

Hi @Istwineres ,

You can assign a record ID to each table, transpose them both and then use a join tool to join on both the record ID and the values, if you need an exact match.

Hope that helps,

Another method is to do a Join with both datasets on every field. Any sort of fallout would be a record exclusively in one file and not the other, or a record with different data between the two files.
