I have two Excel workbooks and I want to take the sheet from one workbook and add it to the other workbook without losing the template formatting that already exists.

@kelly_wu
The option of preserving format from latest Alteryx can help us do that.

Hello,

Thank you for that, but what I'm looking for is the maintain the input data and formatting and add that sheet to the output file. Is that possible?

If it is the same file in input, it will not work. The file should be different to your input.

Yes they are different.

For instance I have Data1.xlsx (input) and Data2.xlsx (output), and I want to take Sheet1 from Data1 with all the formatting and append it to Data2.

Alteryx don't have a way of retaining the template formatting.

You can use the Table tools and Rendering tools to format by yourself.

I want the function retaining the template format,too.
