Can I connect to Essbase?

A previous comment mentioned that Alteryx does not have an MDX interface and therefore no Essbase connectivity. However, this was in Feb 2012. Has this been enabled since?

Hi @Laura_dup_188,

Unfortunately Essbase is not a supported data source that Alteryx can connect to. Here is a list of our fully supported database options that Alteryx can connect to. This would be a great add to our community's ideas page to request added support for Essbase. 

It also looks like Essbase has an API (https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/esb_apiref/frameset.htm?launch.htm) so you may be able to build your own connector for Essbase. Here is a knowledge base article on creating your own connectors: Guide to creating your own connector series
