Can Alteryx relocate files in a folder based on keywords?

So every week we get a folder with 100s of mixed files with different names. But every few files have the same keywords in their name. Is there a way to group files that has the same keyword in a new folder by themselves?

For example, I just want the files that has "costing" to relocate to a new folder. is it possible?

01/01/2022-costing.xlsx

02/01/2022-costing.v1.xlsx

01/01/2022-Dailyexpense.xlsx

01/01/2022Payable.xlsx

03/01/2022-best.costing.xlsx

After relocation,

01/01/2022-costing.xslx

02/01/2022-costing.v1.xslx

03/01/2022-best.costing.xslx

Hi @AmAm

Yes, it is possible. With this macro: Move files between origin and destination path - Alteryx Community you can provide the source and the destination of the files, so the files will be moved from the sorce location to the destination location.

You just need to build the logic before the macro to properly generate the sources and destinations, probably using filters or regex. If you need more help with creating the logic to pass the right parameters to the macro, just say it here and i can try to help you with this part.

If the provided answer helped you to solve the problem/was correct, please accept it as a solution :)

Thanks.

And if you need to create new folders, you can use this one: Create directory if not exists and save the ouput - Alteryx Community
