Using rest api of LinkedIn platform, I am in process of building the connector. But the generated authorization code is not been able to fetch the data. What can be the possible reasons and solutions for the same?
When you sent LinkedIn your APP secret & App ID did you receive back in the downloaded data your authorization code? If you did not then your request for the authorization code is not working. Reasons could be that the request URL is not formatted properly or that your keys are not activated.
If you have an authorization code but cannot pull data, you most likely have the headers incorrect. Try putting the code into a field as stated by LinkedIn. For example, if they say that "Basic 18394uwoejad9390" is the way to do request, put a field called Basic into your workflow with the key being 1839.. Then select that as the header for the GET request. Also, make sure the header has all other relevant information required. If you go to LinkedIn documentation they will have the developer guide for setting up API requests and what is required with the authorization code.
