Batch Macro with Google Analytics

Owlpet

Hi all,

I have multiple Web properties in GA and I want to create a batch macro to run through all the available web properties and extract the users and dates

Below is my configuration:

Column property_id is what I'm trying to update.

However, it returns a duplicate instead.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Peter

Hi @Owlpet,

Have you tried to execute the Google Analytics query separately for each property to have a set of expected results? Could it be that the same values are being returned for both of them?

Hi @FlorianC,

Thanks for replying!

The two web properties with two different user numbers. Please see below:

I thought about listing all the available web properties in separate GA connectors but after 5, they start to time-out and there are about over 10 properties.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Peter

Finally figured it out.

You will need to:

1. add a second Control Parameter and connect to Google Analytics

2. select the profile list.

3. Tick - replace a specific string

4. Save

Well done @Owlpet!

I had not anticipated that the properties were tied to different profiles.
