Basic Filter not working on Alteryx 2019.3.2

Today I downloaded trial version of Alteryx 2019.3.2.15763. Fiddled around with the sample datasets and found that the basic filter doesn't come up with any column name for any dataset I used. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong here?

The Filter tool appears to not have the necessary metadata available to provide those options to you. To populate this data, you could run the workflow, or press F5 to manually refresh.

This is normal if you have selected the "Disable Auto Configure" option in the Advanced section of user settings.

Thank you very much Charlie. I was under the assumption that the metadata would get populated automatically. After refreshing the workflow it happened.

You can find disable auto configure in Designer > Options > User Settings > Edit User Settings > Advanced.
