Hi,
I want to change a basemap for Spatial Analysis.
Like OpenStreetMap.
Can I take it?
https://openstreetmap.jp/map#zoom=6&lat=38.06539&lon=139.04297&layers=00BFF
Thank you.
Hi @SaoriYamguchi,
Changing the Alteryx base map is not a supported feature or recommended. However, it is possible depending on the map service. Below is an example of how to use the USGS Topo map tiles, but it will be up to you to try and get OpenStreetMap to work.
You will lose the Carto layer until you restore the backup copy of the Carto .map file. Alteryx will take the URL template in the DATA parameter, and replaces "{TileMatrix}" "{TileRow}" and "{TileCol}" with the appropriate values for the tile it needs. Note that "TileMatrix" here means zoom level.
If OpenStreetMap is not structured in a similar way, then it might not be possible to do something similar to the above.
Thank you.
Thank you for reply.
I got it!
But, I change another map.
So, could you tell me how to connect tile server?

Thank you.
My apologies, @SaoriYamguchi, but we cannot assist with this process as it is not supported functionality. Thank you for your understanding.
Hi Dan,
Can you please clarify how to change base maps? I'm only seeing the Carto options.
Hi @JeffBerger,
Thanks for your question. The Carto base map options come complimentary with Designer. There are other supported options available, but they require the purchase of a Spatial or Data license. The unsupported option discussed in this post will not show up in the base map drop down, but rather take the place of the existing Carto option when configured appropriately. Please reach out to your Account Executive for more information about Spatial and Data licenses.
Thank you!
