Alteryx Xtract for ODP in SAP

Hi,

sorry for my newbie questions. I am exploring different options to leverage the ODP/ODQ framework.

In your help you mention that 3 notes needs to be applied as prerequisites: 

"1931427 - ODP Data Replication API" + "2232584 Release of SAP extractors for ODP replication (ODP SAPI)" + "1560241 - Release of Datasources for ODP data replication API"

So am I right in assuming that the BW component has to be present in the SAP system where you would like to use the Alteryx Xtract ODP component? So Alteryx ODP is leveraging BW functionality that has to be present in order to work? The wording on the notes suggest this since "datasources", and "SAP extractors" + "SAPI" are typical BW lingu 😉 And this is great and I am all good with that approach I just need to understand it better.

Alteryx Xtract for ODP in SAP is a 3rd party tool developed by Theobald Software GmbH.  I think you'd have more luck getting a response if you addressed your questions directly to them
