Add New blank Column

Hi,

I would like to add some new field/column to the current data set.

In the select tool, i do not find option to create a new field.

I am trying to use formula tool to create the new field, but it require me to add some expression, I can not add new, empty field.

Could someone help me?

In Formula tool, under "Specialized" use Null() to create a Null field... (if it's a String and you want empty rather than null, just enter "")
