Accessing data from Sharepoint through alteryx

Hope you are well. I need help.

All my data currently is saved in sharepoint and its important for us to access these data through alteryx. But we tried connecting through alteryx but its not working. Can you please share how to go about it?

Hi @sriniprad08 ,

there's a connector for working with Files in Sharepoint 365. Just download the yxi file, open it in Designer and you'll get two tools added to your Connectors tab. 

Unfortunately there's an issue with 21.3.2, where the auth cannot proceed. And you need at least Designer 21.2.2 version.

Another limitation is that for scheduling on Server you need to provide your own Azure app as Service principal.

In such case please follow the link in my signature where you'll find Beta of the new version of the connector which supports On-prem as well.

are you sure about the 2021.3 version? We tried to reproduce the error, but did not succeed. And the error does not look like something wrong with the connector itself, rather the missing python SDK on your machine. 

Maybe the connector was not installed properly - could you delete the connector and install it again? 

(go to  %APPDATA%\Alteryx\Tools\ and delete both "sharepoint_1.1.0" and "sharepoint_1.1.0_env" folders - or something that looks similar.. I don't remember exactly the names - and install the yxi again,)

we have uploaded a newer version of the connector. Still Beta, but maybe there was something wrong with the one you tested. If you're still facing the issue, could you please try the new version? Thank you.
