Alteryx interactive charts bewilder me. Tried to look into reporting but I suspect reporting has gone through some changes so tutorial in 11.7 don't match to 2018.3.
I need to do a simple line chart where the x axis is timestamps. Y axis is counts. Chart needs to show two lines area a and b.
Looking at interactive charting I can create a layer and change it to line. What do I put for x and y axis? Does Alteryx need me to transpose data so timestamps change to columns?
Is there a simple tutorial for charting?
Have you checked the Tool Mastery article about Interactive Chart Tool? https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Knowledge-Base/Tool-Mastery-Interactive-Chart/ta-p/250299
You could also see this article about grouping data to overlay charts. It explains step by step how to do that.
It's probably not the solution you're looking for, but as far as I know, Interactive Chart Tool is kinda limited.
