When starting workflow from scratch I often build functionality in disjoint containers but would like away to indicate the order of running for containers (possibly by connecting with optional arrows to indicate order of precedence).
Have you looked at the tool IDs? Does the lowest number run first? if it doesn't copy and paste containers/tools into a new module in the order you want them to run. they will get fresh IDs. Then resave module.
I agree that it would be valuable to be able to control the order of processing, particularly in cases where you're doing a lot of interaction with other external tools (Run Command, connectors, mutiple SQL reads/writes/SPROC calls). While Block Until Done is useful for certain situations, Output tools have no output stream and therefore may not be guaranteed to be complete.

Designer team is currently planning on a new type of container that allows for container sequencing. Stay tuned for more info to come in the coming months!
It brings us incredible joy to announce that Control Containers are finally here - and they are awesome. Check out more details about this amazing new tool inthis blog article!
