Sampling

Create the ability to randomly sample X number of records. For example, randomly select 16 samples from a data set.

Maybe this is better suited for an idea for the product?

 

Solution:

 

Create a variable in a formula as:

RAND()

Sort your data by RAND() ascending and then sample N records from it.

If I understand this request this already exist. It's just hidden in the "Random % Sample" Tool.
