I'm aiming to avoid creating extra columns because the constant may appear across multiple formulas within the workflow. While a workflow constant stays fixed during a single execution, it could change periodically (e.g., revenue per credit hour might be $45 this year and $55 next year). Updating every formula or helper column individually could be cumbersome; thus, updating workflow constants via an interface tool would streamline maintenance.
