Currency functin/tool

It would be useful to have a function or a tool to convert a number into a currency like excel.  Where it would add the $ before and you could choose to have commas and a period for cents.  

ex:  

Input:  15978423.89

output:  $15,978,423.89

of course, i'm sure there would be a need for other currency values besides the '$'.

Hello all!

Ive built a multiple Tab complex data flow to overwrite sheets and append for $$ graphing in excel. the string isn't a number so it wont graph. Im at a loss here without a currency "number" output. I suppose I need to keep these doubles in alteryx then write macros in excel to convert the numbers to currency so the graphs update ????  any help????

Seems like a relatively easy enhancement. I am honestly a little shocked this has not been added to a release yet?

The status of this idea has been changed to 'Inactive'. This status indicates that:
