scheduled workflow did not run

I've got a workflow that is scheduled every night at at around 1:45 AM.
for some reason it did not start this schedule last night.
I'm having trouble understanding what is happening. Because if I look in the Results tab or the Queue tab this schedule/ this run doesn't show up for that timestamp.
What could be a possible reason that this schedule didn't run and How can i prevent this from happening again.

@messi007 I had a filter on the schedule extract that only looked at completed workflows around 2am till 5 am. This specific workflow always is done around 3am. turns out that today the workflow had a lot 10x more data to go through so it finished a around 8 am. thx for the quick response
and for people who got the same issue/ similar issues.
Always check first if the scheduled workflow might have run later/ more data to go through
