root element missing error

I have a workflow which is working absolutely fine in 2019 version, however if i try to open the same workflow in 2020 version im getting, root element missing error and input file does not open. If i open the same workflow again in 2019, it is working fine. 

I want to use it on 2020 for latest functions, pls assist.
