removing extra numbers at the end of a date

The date in my column looks like this:  20211105 000000

How can I get rid of the 5 extra 0's at the end?

Hi @h_lentz

You could use this formula LEFT([DateField], 8)

If you want to get rid of extra zeros you can use this expression on a formula tool:

Trim(TrimRight([FieldName],'0'))
