"noname" attachment shown when email sent has image

Hi,

I am currently sending multiple emails to clients with or without attachments based on conditional logic. However, I have encountered an issue where the company banner is being sent as a "noname" image attachment in all the emails. This could potentially confuse the clients.

Is there a way to rename the image attachment to something more descriptive, like "Company Banner"? I couldn't find any option in the Alteryx email tool that allows me to rename the embedded image in report text tool. Let me know if there is any workaround for thisAlteryx Email snip.PNG

how are you attaching the image? Are you reading it in with an Image tool and using the Layout to include it, or are you reading it directly into a Report Text tool?

If you are doing one of these methods, maybe try the other and see if it helps

Hi,

I'm reading image directly in report text tool. I have tried using image tool and report text tool but no luck. Getting same noname image.

Hmmm I just tested this on my end with the "image in Report Text option" and it worked fine for me. I've seen this behavior once before, and it was because of the image being funky - can you try with another image (the simpler the better) and see if it works?

You can also try using a Layout right before your Render, but I am not sure exactly how your workflow is constructed

I'm attaching a sample banner image for your reference.

Works fine for me... check your location reference perhaps? Check how you are laying out the image with the rest of your body? Check what you are referencing in your Email tool? I can't help much further without the workflow
