"No results found" in sheet selection window

When I input excel file .xlsx into workflow, windows for selecting sheets shows up with the blank list. Is anyone familiar with this problem?

@slobo interesting! Have you tried to (probably ;-)):

- Copy the Excel to see if the copy works/does not work

- Restart designer

- See if you can add tabs in the Excel and if they can be found by the input tool.

Can you share a copy of your Excel or do you have this problem with all of your Excelfiles?

Can you share the path in the input tool? 🙂

I tried everything. The one thing I forgot to mention is that when I open it, enable it for edit and than just save it - it reads everything!?

But I have like a million of these files, so that would be a job to go through each.

@slobo Thanks! Can you copy the file and see if it works with the copied version? It might be the case that the Excel file is locked somehow and it needs to be unlocked for Alteryx to read it properly :-).

@Sebastiaandb With copied version doesn't work also - only when I enter the file, enable editing, and save it. 🤔

Probably the excel file is the problem.
