Dear All,
I just figure out that since I update my Designer to the latest version, my workflows that generate pptx do not work anymore. The generated pptx are empty, and when I try to open them I have a message that "Powerpoint identify a problem" and propose me to try to resolve it and, if I accept, tell me that he does not manage to repare and let me with an empty powerpoint.
My workflow is producing an important reporting and I I can deliver nothing this month due to that.
Have you identified similar problem ? Do you know how to solve it ?

Hi @jmartin, what version of designer are you currently running?
This was a known issue logged under TDALI-1078 DE28304 and has since been fixed in the 2022.2 Alteryx Designer FIPS release only. If you have further questions, please submit a support request to receive updates on this issue.

I see that 2022.2 version is available for the designer but not for the server.
This workflow is part of an app that must be deployed in the server and made available on the gallery.
How can we update the server also ?
If not possible, how can we update the designer and not the server and maintain compatibility ?

Hey @jmartin, do note that the 2022.2 release is Designer FIPS only. Alteryx has not released the 2022.2 update for Designer. You can reference this link for what is FIPS and the differences between both versions: Alteryx Designer and FIPS: Feature Differences
The Alteryx product team should release updates to Designer and Server at the same time, and is also the reason why you do not see Server 2022.2 available yet. It is recommended for Designer and Server to be of the same version. If you ever find yourself in a situation where your Designer is updated but not your Server, the simplest way to maintain compatibility is to downgrade your Designer version to match that of Server (uninstall latest and install matching version of Designer).
Does it mean that i have no solution for my powerpoint problem until the 2022.2 Designer and Server version will be realeased with the fix ?
Yes, you're right. I would recommend you submit a support request to get updates on the fix for this issue, while at the same time check with the support team if there are also known workarounds.
