make a gantt chart in excell

Yes, automation is needed for Alteryx to quickly prepare data for Gantt charts in Excel, Tableau, and other visualizers that have a hard time pivoting & transforming data. Alteryx needs to take our data and shape it according to our natural language instructions. It could start by offering us prompts about particular customizations for the Gantt, but really it should just create the chart by using its Ai smarts. This is pretty obvious!
