is there any way to get output file as a mail if we have nothing to report?

Hi All,

after running a workflow successfully, I did not receive output file as we have nothing to report(no data in output file).

1. any way to get output report (blank report) with headers

or

2. can we send that blank report as automatic mail from Alteryx?

I would suggest to create a column name with 0 below using the Count Records Tool.

This will resolve your issue.

The Append fields tool also has the Select tool functionality where you can rename the column name.

also you can move anywhere in the order.

You should be able to send a blank report with headers.

Can you provide the WF you used so I can see if the tools are configured properly?

Does the email tool have a report that is attached?
