how to read the data from excel when it opened

I have an issue one excel always it is opened for edits, i want to read the data from Excel. is there a way can i read the data from excel

You can try it yourself. maybe you directly refresh the data from excel if use version as v2021.

In current organization they are not allowing outside macros. Is there a way can i solve it.

Is below logic will work?

Can i create a workflow store data in yxdb, when they are done with changes shall i ask them to refresh the workflow to get the upto date info from excel. I can read data from yxdb file.

Please suggest any other options.
