extract points from a polygon every 3 meters

I would like to extract points every 3 meters of the polygon. as shown in the figure below. I tried Poly split and spatial info they are not as precise as I wanted it to be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I created a macro to perform this operation. It has a nested macro so I didn't package the workflow. Simply extract this zip file to get the two macros and the POC workflow.

Note that this macro only processes a single record containing a single (as opposed to multipolygon) polygon object. I haven't built out the functionality to do the other stuff. Please test and let me know if this works for you.
