I have an alteryx package with over 200 steps (filters, joing, formulas) is there a way to get everything in writing? I don't really want to go through everything to figure out what i did. Just wondering if there is an easier way.
@ntudev
There is a macro that may suit your requirement partially
I have not used it so can not really tell.

And there is an alteryx macro called "Workflow Summary", which seems give you the summary of your entire flow, rather than each tools.
Lastly It was presented at the Inspire 2023, namely "Workflow AutoDoc" by Emily Van Ark that annotation for each can be made by that tool.
lets looking forward to it.
As @Qiu pointed out, you can use those macros but they are not all maintained since their inception.
Another way would be to export the XML of the workflow as part of the documentation since it provides you all the information, just not in a visual form.
I have raised an idea here:
Would appreciate your kind support there by commenting on your need and liking the post for visibility.
P.S: Thanks @Qiu - did not know something was planned & announced at Inspire!
