datasets fuzzy match merge help

Hi! I have 2 different datasets with names. One has first names with nicknames instead of the full name and there are some other discrepancies. I am trying to use the fuzzy match to find the matching first and names but the way I have the configuration is not working. Workflow is attached, any guidance would be much appreciated as I am trying to get better with this tool.

I have a separate workflow where I combined the first and last name as well but it would match names like Emily Gomez with Amelia Gomez with a 91 match score.

Hi @soulton 

If you remove Lastname then you start getting some matches - you may have to do First Name and Last Name as separate Fuzzy Match tools.
