crosstab or transpose?

Am trying to take values in col 2 of current data and turn into two columns/fields.

will the transpose or the crosstab tool do this?

What I have

COL1                           COL2

ABC123                       SERIAL_NUMBER

1/1/2024                       DATE

ABC124                       SERIAL_NUMBER

1/2/2024                       DATE

ABC125                       SERIAL_NUMBER

1/3/2024                       DATE

ABC126                       SERIAL_NUMBER

What I need

SERIAL_NUMBER                      DATE

ABC124                                       1/2/2024

ABC125                                       1/3/2024
