convert 12345 to $12,345.00 in alteryx

Hi All,

I am trying to convert a 12345 into $12,345.00 in alteryx but i am unable to

i tried to use the  ToString Formula but i am unable to get the commas

Can anyone please help?

Hi @rinair ,

Your function and parameter are configured as it should. The only thing you need to change is your [Value] format, it needs to be a number format in order to work.

Hi @rinair , the select tool you are using has configured datatype for the column value as V_String, try changing to double ,int64 or any other number datatype and then check if the things workout for you?

hey, thanks for taking time out to help me, i did try your solution, but using Int16 was removing the decimal point which was not serving the purpose, i have to continue with a float or double but thanks for helping!
