compressed file format for csv files

Hello,

I need to process several large csv files.  

 

Is there a file format that is more efficient then csv files that I can use with Alteryx?

 

Can I use Alteryx to convert the files to a more compressed format?

Yes, I would store the data in an Alteryx database (.yxdb)!
