Follow these steps to import a Python script or Jupyter Notebook with the import function:

  1. Select the Alteryx menu.
  2. Select Import Script.
  3. Select Choose File.
  4. Navigate to a .py or .ipynb file and select Import.

Ok, I see it top left now in the Jupyter menus but only import one script at a time and it just puts the code into cells???

Can an Alteryx rep clarify, is Atleryx mainly a tool for non-developers?  I'm a Python developer tasked with using Alteryx and writing custom Python code for certain workflows and am finding Alteryx so far to be severely limiting.

wow, I click another tool, move away from the Python tool, come back and my code I wrote in a cell is gone.

This is really not nice to work with.

You need to document these things.
