attach folder to asset to run directory tool on private server

Hi community,

I got the same problem with this post https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Discussions/Invalid-Directory-when-saving-to-my-pr..., however my folder is local folder, i don't have share folder, don't need to dynamic reload. So is it possible to attach local folder as asset so directory tool can access the folder.

Hi @huynv96 ,

You need to have a folder where your private server and you are able to access and that is solved by having a shared folder, that is why. 

Your server must be able to access that folder.
