alteryx multi row formula not saving group by

Alteryx is not saving the multi row formula  group by field. If I close alteryx and open it again, the fields are not staying. I do not know how to correct this issue. I am not sure if any workflow settings need changed or if I need to use a batch macro. If I need to use a batch macro, I am not sure how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just need to add a partition record id. I didn't realize that I was going to have these issues.

I have never encountered this issue.

One possibility to me is that you maybe accidently turned this option?

Yes. I did see that option checked and so I un-checked it and will re - try. I tried adding the fields back in the group by multi row formula, save the file,  closed alteryx, re open alteryx and now I do see the group by fields are there again. That must have been the issue. Thanks.
