Workflows suddenly increase to huge size, how to decrease size of workflow?

I have a workflow (chained app that resides on the server) , went from 80b to 80,000KB. why does this happen? I didnt add anything crazy.

Are you looking at the yxmd file size itself? Or when you download as a yxzp? Are there additional documents or files packaged with the workflow?

@Luke_C  they are alteryx apps format. and chained from the first file.  Ie Pt 1 has 70KB, Pt 2 has 85,000 KB.  They only reference the next chained app. No documents!
