Workflows generate PPT slides that need repair

Question

Several workflows that have been working for a long while, suddenly about 6 months ago, when a slide is generated and opened, it throws an error and it needs to be "repaired". Two clicks and it opens and appears fine. Might this be something to do with a PPT update?

Thanks for the info. We use version 2021.1.4.26400. Had some problems of capability with ESRI SDE databases when we upgraded to the newest version. I will look into the support request.

What version of Alteryx are you on?

Configuring the Render Tool to output to PowerPoint results in the file requiring to be repaired when accessed.  I have seen several people with this error in v2020.4 of Designer. You can submit a support request, referencing item DE28304, should you be experiencing this particular behavior.
