Workflow to start and stop based on condition

Hello All, 
We are designing a situation where the user decides weather the output has to be written is database or not by entering Y or N in the input file. We want alteryx to error saying missing vales in input or something as such, if the value Y or N is missing in the input file.

The Message Tool output will show up in the results window.  Attached is quickly made sample workflow.
