I am trying to plot a graph of the weather forecast for multiple cities
it's going ok, but the chart is not displaying it properly.. what the heck is going on here? it looks like the Y axis is completely random..

Hi @Matthew ,
You're going to hate yourself.
Change the data type on the TempSMA field to a double...
M.
hmm, it's already a float, isn't that adequate?
i switched to a double anyway, and i'm getting a similar result
weird. i changed it to a double, and it had almost no effect. but i threw a cleanse tool on there, and that fixed the issue.. but i dont know what the problem was to begin with..
@Matthew i think it's the nulls. If you filter them out everything behaves (although I did need to bring a fresh interactive chart tool in):
@OllieClarke , weird. Same here.
I was playing with it after fixing the nulls and it didn't change. I simply added a new Interactive chart and it worked.
I'm going to forget I saw that and just get on with my rich, full life.
M.
haha thanks @mceleavey ,thanks @OllieClarke
Yes it looks like the root cause was unclean data, though i wish the interactive chart tool was a little more tolerant to minor issues like that
Particularly since it has that weird hiccup where you need to reconstruct the chart tool to fix some glitches.
@Matthew always happy to help 🙂
