Vlookup #N/A in Excel - how will you put a text in Alteryx?

In excel, when you use a vlookup and if there is no match it will show #NA.  I am trying to do this in Alteryx. I use" join" function to do a vlookup then I used "union" so everything will still show in 1 file.  Is there a way for me to put a text  on the rows that are blank just like #NA in excel (instead of just living the cell blank)?

Hi @Virgie0113

One approach would be to use a formula tool for the field in question. The function would be:

IF IsEmpty([Field Name])

Then "Text"

Else [Field Name]

endif

Hi, this works.  Thank you so much!
