I am new to Alteryx and this type of work in general. We are working on a project to reconcile correspondence between our vendors. As part of an auditing procedure, we wanted to automate reconciliation done by different vendors. One of these vendors requires us to download a manual report that does not indicate the date of the report.
Therefore, I wanted to create an analytic app that allows you to choose the applicable report date in the Date tool and add that as a column in the database for all of the values in the spreadsheet. I am thinking that it will need a Date, Action, and Generate rows tool. I'm completely new to this and don't have much experience with formulas so I thought I would reach out here.
