Using In-DB Tool on .yxdb

Is it possible to use the In-DB tool on Alteryx databases? It doesn't appear to be a connection type choice. Am I blind, is there a work-around, or is this just not an option?

YXDB files can't be used as InDB sources.

 

They need to be streamed in and processed by the standard tools. If you need to connect them to an InDB source you would need to use a Data Stream In tool to load them into the database.
