Use local files for Reference Base Map

When attempting to generate report maps while not connected to the internet, the Report Map tool fails with a "There was an error retrieving a map tile" error because it can't load the Reference Base Map.  Is there a way to download the OSM maps and point Alteryx at a local instance of the map instead of requiring it to download from an online server?

If you have the spatial or demographics packs, then I believe that you can network install these (on your server for instance) and use them locally. Not sure if you can edit your post, but try putting spatial tag on it to get the spatial peeps seeing the question.

Also, if you set a dedicated worker up as a map tile server, then possibly it would store "locally", but I'm not sure. Come to think of it, as you are talking about "while not connected to the internet", I'm guessing only talking about designer.

Try going to Options > User Settings > Edit User Settings and playing with the reference base map there, but I've got a feeling you may not have that much success. There used to be an option to use a custom map, but I think even that may have been API driven and I'm not sure if it was carried across when the Carto >> Mapbox conversion happened.

This post is about the back-end and investigation into it, but again, it's from Carto era rather than Mapbox: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Desktop-Discussions/Image-as-background-on-map/td-...
