Unique record by earliest date

Hey,

I have a list of customer email addresses with dates of when they were entered into the system. The source of the data isn't great so from time to time it will re-submit a customer's email address with a new create date if they make a purchase. So somebody can have multiple email addresses but different create dates.

Does anyone know of a way to pull the unique email address of just the earliest create date record for that person?
