Unique Record ID Every 9 Records

Hi, I am struggling to figure this out. I'd like to create a new column with a unique ID for every 9 records, starting with "1" for the first 9 records. Example below: Incoming data set is FieldNum, Name, Value and I'd like to produce RecordNum column. Appreciate your help.

Hi, @dwilliams3 

 

1- If your every N records number in formula can  manual input, you only need use Floor function to calculation it.

 

2- If you want dynamic calculate group by field [Name], please follow process by below step:

I used basic algebra to come up with a formula since we know RecordNum increments by 1 after 9 records.
