Unable to use License Key on different Laptop

So I cannot use a license key that I have activated on a new laptop. The original laptop I downloaded Alteryx designer and activated the license key on is currently being repaired on, so I am using a different, temporary laptop. When I try to redo this whole process, I get a "no seats available" message when trying to use my license key. Does anyone have any help with this? I need to be able to use this software before my classes this week and I do not know what to do. The only thing I have been able to see is "revoke" my own license but I do not want to do that and then create a bigger issue for myself. How can I use my license key that I already got, but on this new computer?

With Designer Desktop (not cloud): If you had access to the old machine, you could transfer a license yourself using the menu: Options > Manage Licenses

 

Deactivate on one machine, then use the same license key on another machine.
